The following are
instructions to assist you in sending alerts
directly from your specialized flier creation
computer into the Terralert Service and out to
users. Please contact your Terralert
representative to verify if your flier creation
system is compatible. These instructions do
require an understanding of how to use the system.
Please review your instructions for your machine.
Before transmitting a missing
child alert you must have a minimal set of
information for the public to use. When sending an
alert it is important to include as much
information as possible. However the following
fields are required or the system will reject the
flier because of the lack of information. Please
ensure these Text fields are filled in.

Flier Header (include the
word Test if this is only a test)
-
Date
-
Case ID
-
Name (both a first and last
name must be available)
-
Age
-
Sex
-
Height (both feet and
inches)
-
Race (American Indian,
Arabic, Asian, Black, Caucasian, Filipino,
Hispanic, Other)
Once you have filled in the
required text fields you can now click the
Transmit button. Once you are in the directory of
recipients, locate the Terralert link created
during your activation. Double click the link or
click “Add” to add it to the list of recipients.
Then click the Transmit button. Click OK to
confirm the transmission.
